'Crowned in Petals' is rendered on a richly patterned fabric base, using layers of acrylic, coloursoft pencil, graphite, and charcoal. Sealed with spray varnish. 
 
The figure emerges and recedes - part of the botanical print, yet distinct - inviting the viewer to look closer and question what is revealed and what remains hidden.
 
The floral crown she wears is at once beautiful and heavy. Each blossom becomes a symbol of the burdens carried alongside grace. Her eyes hold a quiet defiance, suggesting that what appears soft and delicate is also fiercely protective. The crown is both her veil and her armour, embodying the paradox of beauty that can both suffocate and strengthen.
