'Lucent Light' is rendered on a richly patterned fabric base, using layers of acrylic, coloursoft pencil, graphite, and charcoal. Sealed with spray varnish. 
 
The figure emerges and recedes - part of the botanical print, yet distinct - inviting the viewer to look closer and question what is revealed and what remains hidden.
