'Sweet Surrender' is rendered on a richly patterned fabric base, using layers of acrylic, coloursoft pencil, graphite, and charcoal. Sealed with spray varnish. 
 
The figure emerges and recedes - part of the botanical print, yet distinct - inviting the viewer to look closer and question what is revealed and what remains hidden.
 
I Imagined petals falling upon her. And her fully surrendering to the feeling it brings - the quiet release of resistance, the moment the body remembers it is safe to soften. 
 
Sweet surrender is not giving up, but giving in to what has always been waiting - tenderness, trust, and the freedom found in letting go.
